Once you file your return, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) processes it and sends you a Notice of Assessment. If you disagree with your assessment and you are not able to resolve the issue over a phone call with a CRA Representative, you can initiate a formal process for dispute resolution by filing a Notice of Objection with the CRA.
